Betty C. Kane, a/k/a Viola H. Collins, age 100, answered God's calling peacefully on May 22, 20210. She was born September 26, 1909 to Albert and Florence Krogh in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She attended Iowa State Teacher's College and taught swimming for several years. She was a member of the John Knox Presbyterian Church. Her kind, generous heart and soul touch the lives of many. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Survivors include daughters; Vicki(Lynn)May of Avon, IN and Debi (Doug) Weigart of Brownsburg, IN, son; L. Dee(Charlene) Collins of Brandenton, FL, grandchildren; Randy, Darryl Carter, Joe Vasquez, Kim Gainer, Laura Thiez, John Collins, Brett Profitt, Dan Collins, David Shan and Nicole Kays and 16 great-grandchildren; Brandon, Courtney, Cory, Kristen, Colton, Taylar, Sophia, Danny, Emily, Claire, Sofia, Jackson, Graham, Gage, Rico and Dominic.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 30th at 1:00pm at 3284 S. County Rd 475 West, Danville, IN.
