Daniel was the son of Paul R. Foncannon and Clara(Szabo) Foncannon. He was a 1958 graduate of Clinton High School.
He served 4 years in the United States Air Force(Vietnam Era). While in the service he enjoyed playing Inter mural softball as a short stop for the Spangs, while stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. After his service in the Air Force, he worked as a telecommunication Engineer in the U.S., Philippines and Thailand, retiring in 2002.
He was a member of the Hungarian Lodge of Terre Haute, IN, the National Box Car Association and American Legion Post 0312 of St. Charles, MO. Life member of the D.A.V. the Marine Corp. League and V.F.W. Post 1550, Greencastle, IN.
Daniel is survived by two sons, Daniel T. of St. Charles, MO and Daniel of Richmond, TX; two daughters, Amanda K (Annie)Schulte and Megan Marie Foncannon of Richmond, TX; nephew, Timothy Foncannon of Rosedale, IN, grandson, A.J. Foncannon of Foley, MO, and long time friend Betty Marie.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald and David Foncannon.
Graveside services will be announced in the summer.
