He was an author of many scientific papers and a member of scientific organizations. He married Mary L. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, reading and was a member of Phi Delta Kappa and Rotary Club of Danville. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary; daughters, Lysiane and Heidi; sons, Brett and Craig; twin brother, Frank; sister, Marion; sister-in-law, Joyce; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
