Survivors, sons, Michael (Amber) Sterrett, Richard Sterrett and Bradley Cagle, all of Indianapolis, companion, John Pitman; sisters, Debbie Sterrett, Ethel (Cecil) Wolf, Theresa (Mike) Golden, Ann (Eddie) Watson, Regina(Kevin) Thornton and Tammy Smith, all of Indianapolis; brothers, Rick (Jolene) Sterrett of Greenwood, Bill (Becky) Sterrett of Indianapolis, and David Smith of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Isaiah Sterrett, Madison Sterrett and Lindsey Sterrett.
