Joyce was born December 7, 1937, to Charles and Virginia Payne. Preceded in death by her son Richard Davis Jr., and granddaughter Amy Coleman Linkous. She is survived by her husband, Richard, her four daughters, Dina Mack, Karen Heady, Lisa Musgrove and Julie Coleman. Also her fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Joyce was employed by Lazarus/Macy's for seventeen years after raising her family. She was a member of Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church, 3100 W. Stones Crossing Rd. Greenwood, where there will be a celebration of life at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2008. The famlly suggests, that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
